I believe that the best results are most often achieved when the person having their picture taken is relaxed and at ease with the process and the environment. Whenever possible, I shoot in natural settings and lighting conditions so my clients are the most comfortable while still being able to achieve the objectives of the shoot. I provide minimal direction and "posing" because that ultimately translates to a very unnatural result that is magnified by the camera.
This shot was aired with other photos of lightning on Channel 5's 11 o'clock weather report. It was taken standing in my front door during a storm last year. This is the second time this photo has been aired. It was also featured on the Fox25 morning weather report with Cindy Fitzgibon the day after it was taken.

I recently volunteered for a community event sponsored by the New England Aquarium. I had a wonderful time shooting the people interacting with the various animals and had the pleasure of meeting some terrific people who care a lot about what they do.
